Golf + Tennis + Basketball + Soccer = Workout?

golf lang po muna.. i'm no pro though. (pro's usually have a -1 or nill handicap)

golf is really more on technique rather than strength. imo, it's a man against nature thing. baka kaya pangit swing mo eh you're muslceling-out both your backswing and your downswing. anyhow, do a couple of grip, leg, lower back, and shoulder excercises.

sa wrist ako nadadali eh... kasi na-injure dati... so dapat focus muna ako sa forearms and wrist workouts? kasi parang ang inconsistent ng swings ko minsan eh

Paolo: I haven't played golf in years (although I'm planning to again next year if my BB efforts permit). I think wrist injuries are common for steep swingers. Hard contact with the turf on contact will hurt your wrist tremendously. I have a steep swing as well and when I was playing (or at least hitting the ball a lot on the range), my wrist suffered quite a bit of impact.

A change of swing is all I can recommend. No amount of strengthening will reduce the impact of 80mph onto a hard surface.

Forearm strength is important as well, as we all know, as grip weakens, shots get deflected much easier.

I'd advice a good pro for lessons then work with a whole body stretching and core training (mid section and lower back).

Here's a good site.

i think i have to change my swing nga... pero hindi kasi ako masyadong flexible kaya nahihirapan din ako eh... practice na lang siguro plus stretching... pati wrist talaga... kasi na-injure na yan dati pa eh...
