Every person na kilala ko na magpapacancel ng membership pare-parehas story, ang bagal ng response tapos pabalik balik ka either sa tawag o sa dalaw.
Aug 24 kasi anniv ko sa FF, so pwede na akong mag-cancel. I wanted to cancel since di ako makapunta the past 3 months and namamahalan ako sa kanila.
I went there nung 21st, filled up a request, then sabi nung counter lady tatawagan daw ako ng account manager within the next 24-48 hours for confirmation and explanation of how it works. Sabi ko ok...
I left both my cell and office phone. Di ako gano ka dalas sa cube ko so inexpect ko na kung di nila ako tinawagan sa landline, tatawag sa cell (coz they called my cell again and again when I was inquring last year).
Nung 23rd tumawag sa office sabi ng receptionist, but wala ako, she never called back. I kept calling FF daily from the 25th to 30th, laging wala yung manager, di din naman nagrereturn call.
Nung Wednesday she finally called, I told her labo naman nila di sila tumatawag etc. Her apology sure sounded "plastic"... Inexplain nya na sa contract nakasulat ay members have to cancel their memberships before the 5th of the month and should give 30 days notice. So since 21st ako nagcancell, considered as Sept na ako nagcancell. So Oct 5 pa daw pwede iterminate.
That's fine for me, nasa contrata pala eh.
Then she told me to visit FF again to fill up another form. Which was annoying, bat di nalang yun ang binigay in the first place????
Here are the annoying things.
1) Bat di nalang sinabi ng receptionist sa FF tungkol dun (30 day notice etc) when I filled up the initial request form??? Pinahintay pa ako for manager ek ek.
2) When I went back to FF the following day to fill up the form, the REALLY STUPID receptionist (may itsura pa naman) was really maarte and annoying. REALLY SLOW MOVEMENTS intentional talaga. I told her I have to fill up a form that the manager asked me to fill up. I told her that the manager already told me that she left the form sa front desk etc etc.
Took her 10 mins to tell me "wala po dito eh, wala din si manager's name"
I said, alam ko wala sya kaya nga nya binilin sa front desk kasi wala sya sa time na available ako eh. Ano gusto nyo hihintayin ko sya hanggang feel nya na pumasok????
Then again, the half ass effort of looking sa mga drawers. Finally she asked the guard to get a form sa office.
Nampusanggala.... YUN LANG PALA????? All she needed was a blank form for me to fill up... DAGNABIT
Bwiset yun talaga...
Sis in law ko din ayaw paterminate when she had to leave for Singapore. Laging "confirmation" pa kung sure na magqui-quit... Ang yayabang pa mga manager.
To think that members spent more than 25K on them a year grr.
pero kapag application ang kulit nila... tawag ng tawag sa cell, kapag sinabi mong after 2 days... exactly 2days tatawag... pero kapag cancelling hassle...
sobra, sa sister in law ko nagsumbong sya sa FF headquarters dahil nga ang yayabang at ang babastos ng mga naghandle sa kanya. Ginawa nya pinutol nalang nya CC nya since alis nadin syang Singapore... Ayun, pati yung 30 days notice di na nya finile.
Mag Slimmers ka na lang theveed.Hindi nga kasing high tech ng Golds and Fitness First,but ok naman sa customer service.I suggest you get the lifetime membership,mahal sa una(you can get it at 35Kphp at some branches,kung may promo 6mos 0% interest through card),but if you are a consistent user ,sulit na sulit!Yung iba nga nakakasabay ko mga lolo na,pero lift pa din(ayaw patalo hehe)Theveed,mayroon branch diyan sa Marcos hi-way tapat ng Barrio Fiesta.
Yes, may branch nga... issue ko kasi sa mga ganyan na gym, dami ng tao, especially machine hoggers na di naman seryoso... Matronas that hog the leg press machine doing 20kg ets hehe.
But coconsider ko din, may nakikita din ako nagbebenta (resell) ng membership ng Slimmers mga 20K lang kakatempt...
But for now, baka try ko yung small gym na bago sa may harap ng karangalan... P50/visit hehe....

Siguro just the right timing theveed.I usually go sa Slimmers mga lunch time and presto walang kalaban sa gamit,just for my usual gym pals.Tama ka regarding the transfer of membership 20K.Just a tip to anyone who wishes to enroll in Slimmers for lifetime membership.Prices vary from branch to branch,so do a little canvassing baka makamura kayo maski kaunti,usually mas mahal kung sa mga malls kayo magenroll.The trick is enroll kayo sa smaller branches,avail of the platinum membership,and still you can go whichever branch you want to go to.
