i apologize in advance for my ignorance, but what is a "cosmic class?"
imo, depends. if you're doing high intensity cardio after lifting weights, then i would say yes - it will hinder your muscle growth. your overall bodyweight will decrease, pero kasama dun yung muscle mass.
if you're doing cardio after a light strenght training routine, it wont. kumbaga eh warmup mo yung light strenght training, tapos nun you do your cardio workout.
kung 5 mins on a stationary bike with moderate resistance, oks lang after lifting weights.
the reason it's not, or should i say rarely recommended to do cardio after strenght training is because of muscle catabolism (body will use muscle as an energy resource.) that's why most of the routines you'll see out there, puts cardio training on a separate day.

I'm guessing the cosmic class is one of those aero classes and in that case the answer is no.
Long duration cardio vascular activity immediately after your workout is detrimental to optimum growth.
If you wanna do cardio and resistance training on the same day i would recommend at least a 6-8 hour break between the two in order to allow your GH levels to return to normal.
IMO, light cardio after lifting weights is not that bad at all. just 20min of treadmill, at an incline, with just walking speed, will do the trick. just make sure you have your nutrition dialled in already, esp your pre- and post-workout shakes. but just like what the others here said, it is better if you do cardio and weights separately. I like the results better if I do cardio early in the morning on an empty stomach.
cosmic cycling class yun (sa fitness first).... cycling class na nakatayo, nakaupo, etc.... talagang lawit ang dila mo after that class (1 Hour)... mukhang dapat nga gawin ko sa ibang araw yung cosmic class.... mukhang nag-hinder nga yun ng muscle growth... thanks for your replies!
Well as for me I usually do my Cardio after my workout, it really helps me burn more calories. And because I don't have the luxury of doing my cardio on a seperate day. Being an 8-5 employee (usually on provincial assignment) and a family man, really take up alot of my time. But if you have the time, cardio works better if you do it better breakfast. Just always remember your calorie intake and supplements.
its fine to have your cardio after your strength training but you have to consider 2 things: the intensity of your strength training and the intensity of your cardio workout. kung yung program mo sa weights that day is more on the muscular strenght side or power pwede mong tagalan ang cardio mo. but kung ang program mo for that day is targeting muscular endurance, hinay hinay lang sa takbo.
If you're after muscle growth, cardio of any form after weight lifting is not only counterproductive, it's useless for both purposes of muscle recuperation and fatloss.
keep cardio and weight lifting around 6 hours apart.

Yeah , i agree! Kailangan sa ibang araw ang Cardio.
Yup. cardio after workout is fine. but sometimes excessive cardio is not good. 30 minutes maximum will be ideal. And also it depends on your goal. If you are concern about muscle growth, do the cardio after workout. For weight loss, cardio first then weight lifting.
if you workout monday to thursday straight and you do other sports on fri and sat, you will not be able to maximize your growth because you spend so much energy that is supposed to be used for building muscle... Also, you give too little time for your muscles to recover... if you like to continue playing badminton and biking, eat big... you dont want to lose your muscles during these activities so have your carb and protein shake during and after these activities... do not train for 3 straight days...it is ok to train for 2 consecutive days ex: 2days on--1day off--2 days on--2 days off...train heavy with compound exercises...
if you want to change your weekly routine, i suggest you to train 3 days per week...i also suggest 5x5 training method... it is a very old routine but its hard and effective... i gained 8lbs for 4 weeks and gained more 4 lbs after i finished my program due to rebound effect... i am an ectomorph aka hardgainer and i am 100% natural meaning i dont use steroids...
