I started lifting weights when I was 16 (part of my training program as an high school athlete). I do take amino and creatine back then. I became serious on lifting weights for almost 2 years. Then at 18, I suffered a minor injury on my right knee and had to stop training in order to recover... Now at 20, with knees OK, I was again hit by the "gym-bug"... I started lifting again last May, in order to lose weight (imagine I was 170lbs. before getting injured -- then I was 230lbs. last May). I take hydroxycut until last October, thankfully I'm now down to 210lbs...
Now my question is, I started taking ripped fuel (capsules) last november, do you think it is ok if I add creatine (capsules) with ripped fuel? tnx in advance....
It's ok to add creatine to your existing supplementation.
Now to my comment.
1) How's your diet? No diet = waste of supplement money. 2) What's your main goal? Weight loss? Again, read some of the articles in the Articles section and Fat Loss section.
Don't depend on supplements. They're not the answer.
i'm on a high protein diet (i think it's better than low carbs)... i'm pretty contented with 210lbs... my goal is to have definition on my muscles, burn those excess fats in between. i'm taking some time off with hydroxycut (im just trying ripped fuel, and as i see... it works just fine) and lastly, i do not really depend on supplements, it's just that i'm used on taking some and i like that burst feelling when you work-out, feeling very inspired right?! it's like being motivated... you take one then your brain tells you to push hard on the gym. you gotta have the heart and love for the sport right! the main purpose of the supplements is just an added bonus...
i was actually under the impression that hydroxycut or ripped fuel don't mix with creatine or mass building supplements. guys, please correct me here because i really thought that their effects contradict each other. or is this true only depending on the actual brand of supplement of each type that you combine?
Creatine is not a mass building supplement, it can be taken both bulk and cut phase of your workout. It helps muscle recuperation, endurance among other things. I think the Creatine FAQ contains a section about this: ===============================
Q: I don't workout, but do you think that creatine will build muscles and help me to lose fat?
A: No! If you don't workout I cannot imagine what supplement would help you. Creatine provides your muscles with more short term energy - but that is wasted if you do not exercise them. If you take creatine you should push yourself even harder in the gym. The idea is with more energy you should be able to workout harder. A harder workout leads to increased muscle mass.
Q: Since Creatine makes you gain weight should I not take it on a cut?
A: Yes, creatine causes your body to hold water, but that is a good thing! The fact that your muscles are super hydrated even on a cut is fantastic. I see absolutely no correlation between taking creatine and our body storing fat. If anything, creatine will assist us in maintaining more lean mass while dieting. In my mind there is no point to discontinuing the use of creatine while trying to burn fat. Except, you will want to stop taking it 2 weeks before a show, so that you are not holding water. Besides that it will only benefit you during a cut!
Q: Can I take Creatine and Protein at the same time?
A: Firstly, protein is a food product. If you couldn't take creatine and protein at the same time, then you would have to be a strict vegetarian and still you would end out consuming around 40 grams a day just from normal foods. To top this off, creatine is not much use without a significant protein intake. What is the point of pushing your muscles further than they are used to, if you are not going to provide the amino acids necessary for their repair?
==========================
Furthermore, muscle will NEVER become fat or vice versa, so it doesn't matter if you're trying to gain muscle or lose fat, your fat burner will not cause your muscle to shrink and whatever muscle building supplement will not help you lose the fat either.
Side note: Other than illegal anabolics, I don't think there's such a thing as a mass building supplement per se (directly correlated to muscle gain and growth), all "weight gainers" etc are just supplements to help you have more calories in your diet, have more protein or help recuperation and repair of muscle fibers damaged through weight lifting (this is what triggers muscle growth).
in my opinion, take muscletech thermogain instead... burn fats gain muscles... please read my comment about xenadrine NRG and EFX... NRG is one of the best fat burner nowadays along with biotest hotrox... i dont think ripped fuel is that effective, mag hydro ka na lang... dont depend on supplements din... workout and proper rest plus right food/diet magdadala sa iyo hindi supplements...
as my little knowledge for the matter, creatine makes u grow big, water retention adds as a factor, ripped fuel cuts off little of your fats n helps u tone up, i used to take creatine, ans it really makes me lift heavier weights, i got big with creatine supplements, but i want to tone down a bit now, im starting with ripped fuel, although ive read that hydroxycut works better burning fat, ok na din sa akin ripped fuel, well see for a month if i did improve

4) Creatine and Fat Burners.
l said before that it is not good at all to take Creatine with Caffeine, but there is something more here. Think about one of the most major functions that Creatine is doing. lt causes water retention inside the muscle cell, right? Now think about one of the most major actions of Caffeine! (If you wonder why l am talking about Caffeine again, keep in mind that at least 90% of fat burners contain Caffeine or "Guarana" which is basically Caffeine in herbal form.) lt causes frequent urination. So from one side you have to drink more water because of Creatine, but at the same time you have to go to bathroom more often. The final result? Very possible dehydration and muscle cramping.
You want to lose some unnecessary fat pounds ladies and gentlemen? Fine, take your fat burner, reduce your calories, and increase your cardio! You want to gain some muscle pounds? Take a good Creatine supplement, and increase your food consumption! You want to get more muscles, but at the same time you want to lose some unnecessary pounds? Sorry, out of the question! Decide what you want to do first, and don't believe the hype: "l got 10 muscle pounds in 8 weeks, and at the same time l lost 20 fat pounds"! (Yeah right!)

My opinion is that creatine will be great for the extra energy but don't expect to put on much mass by combining the two.
That's a difference with how water is being pulled away from the muscle with these two supplements actually. It is counter-beneficial if you take them together at the same time of course, but if you time your supplements correctly, it shouldn't matter. If you're just going to take creatine once, take it post workout. Take your fat burner after the period of protein absorbsion...
It's heck of a lot easier to concentrate on one supplement though... hehe
its been a month after i 1st take hydroxy, ok naman mainit lang sa katawan, minsan di makatulog though i sleep late, nuong una ambabaw lang ng tulog ko, but i measured and loss few inches from my waist, target ko to have good abs it would take a while but ill continue this regimen till i obtain my target
