Funny thing happened during this holiday...

Went to Batangas this week and my brother in law got a home gym for xmas from his wife.

It was a simple adjustable bench with bar, leg extension and fly attachment.

He has a set of dumbbells with threaded lock and around 30lbs was hooked up to each.

I "worked out" a couple of times doing nothing but chest presses and flys.

Quite a big surprise on how good my form was and how my chest responded (and not my tri/delts) with such light weights.

My theory is that for some (like me), not having the distractions of a paid gym (people, noise, annoyances etc), lack of plates to go "heavy" and lack of a spotter (weight support) allows you to concentrate on form more and establish great mind-muscle connection.

I only did 4 sets of 30lbs of flat and incline presses and my chest was throbbing warm. I rarely get such a pump when I was lifting 60-80lbs db presses.

im into this home gym na rin....naka katamad na kasi lumuwas pa ng house, lumipat kami ng house so malayo na gym. just bought couple of free weights, ez bar and a straight bar. max plats is around 140 and i think ok na para sa akin yun. 5'4 130lbs.

my problem is hindi ako marunung mag back exercise using my home equipments.
