I'm just curious, does anybody here use appetite stimulants as supplements?
I've been pumping iron since late last year, though I've not gained big since I don't eat like a bodybuilder... most of the time I don't have any appetite. Will stimulants such as APPETENS, APPEBON, PROPAN (and other appetite stimulants) be able to help? This is also because I can't afford buying supplements such as Whey, they're whey too pricey for me, hehehe!

appetite stimulants will only help you eat more within a meal, your body cannot digest that much food per sitting, the key to caloric surplus is still eating a lot of meals per day not eating a lot of food PER MEAL.
if you just eat 3-4x a day with a lot of servings per meal, you're just storing fat since your body can't utilize those excess calories you've eaten.
Side note: If you do the math, mas mura whey di hamak kesa food like chicken, fish and eggs.
i don't. appetite suppresant ata kelngan ko eh. baka naman plateau lang yan kaya di ka lumalaki.
anyway, i agree with theveed. meal frequency rather that meal quantity. it's all in your head Icarus. motivation lang.. use the same motivation/strategy, you use to pump iron, on your diet.

Sir, medyo natawa ako dun ah! pero totoo minsan, kasi may kilala ako ganun nga problem niya. walng gana sa pagkain. imagine a 1 foot long parasite in his stomach lumabas after 1 dose of that choco-flavored combantrin(?)
im not really plugging my supplements... but for hard gainers like myself, weight gainers are a godsend. Packed with calories, carbs and protein, even the toughest hard gainers like myself can put on some good weight. It's pretty tough getting 3 to 5000 calories in a day just from the foods you eat, and you do know what the quickest way to gain weight is to eat more calories than you expend, right? Well, now you do. With weight gainers, this makes your life that much easier. appetite stimulants would help you eat big meals... but not regular small meals which you really need...
Iba talaga pag natural foods ang kakainin,don't get me wrong I also use supplements(whey) but I gained quality pounds(with the help of a nutritionist) eating all types of food(sali pati veggies and fruits) mahirap maka-avail ng all types(food groups) in a daily basis.Pero I did it religiously and it worked.

YEP! use supplements as a help! but EAT EAT EAT! ever since i dont eat chicken, but since last week... kumakain na ako! if you want to get big... EAT CHICKEN! EAT BEEF! eat a lot!
i have the same problem.. so hard to eat more times.. what i did was make a macaroni salad with lots of chicken breast.. i think everybody likes salad so every three hours, im eating the salad if i dont have the appetite to eat a regular meal...
my sis complains though about the taste (hehe... wala na kc ibang ingredient, macaroni, mayo at lots of meat lang)
PS... Yes, it helps to deworm yourself once in a while. We raise pigs at home and we deworm them so they grow big faster.. So na-influence ako at Im also deworming myself once in a while.. hehehe

Hahaha! maskulado na yung bulate kaya lalong naghahanap ng sustansya kasi lumaki na sya. Kakatakot kung nag we weights din ang bulate natin, tataas yung protein intake nya! Ngek!!!
