Never found the need to use a belt, I'd rather strengthen my ab/lower back rather than relying on a belt for compression, it's not like I'm lifting powerlifting speed and weights anyway.
I wear whatever I wear when I go to bed hehe, usually tank top or tshirt with shorts, that's about it. No gloves, straps, belts, etc... Kung pwede nga lang mag flipflop sandals yun nalang hehe, istorbo mag shoes...
sando or sleeveless shirt, shorts, i have supporter na parang girdle - yung Manly na brand na blue...i have gloves...and slippers lang, i bring towel and extra shirt and 2 bottles of water sa gym. on leg days, i wear rubber shoes...

Hey partner, I suggest that you should wear a belt, Its better to be safe than sorry.
I used to back in HS, but I don't lift heavy enough to facilitate the use of it eh. When I move up to higher weight (low rep) type of workout siguro. Thanks for the heads up.
Ako jogging pants, rubber shoes(required sa gym)regular pag non leg workout day, high cut pag leg workout day.Gloves, wrist support and belt(pang alalay sa back)for squats, deadlifts.
I wear sando and shorts (I have my own gym here at home), lifting belt (for safety) and wrist support(again for safety) and gloves. I actually founf better grip with gloves, though of course when I first used it I was uncomfortable, but I got used to it.

I always wear shorts and rubber shoes, but with regards to upper garments it depends on the weather/humidity (sandos/sleveless on hot weather and cotton t shirts on cold days). I also wear lifting gloves whenever I used my hands. And l own lifting belt when doing squats, deadlifts and bent over rows. Plus always bring towels.
